The day Clint brought Bo home, Brenda said, "That dog is not living in this ******* house". She quickly realized his heart of gold and the next thing they knew he was family. Snuggling on the couch, sleeping in bed with her and soon had a twin bed of his own.
Bo was the definition of loyal. For years, if Clint wasn't going to work, Bo was coming with. Whether is was working in the garage, taking a RZR trip to the store or going to a friends house. Everyone knew that if Clint was coming, they could expect Bo too.
He was definitely 'one of the boys' and everyone knew it. If Bo wasn't hunting or hanging with the boys, he was getting whoever was closest to him to play. There wasn't a ball or stick that Bo didn't like or couldn't find. You could throw the ball 200 times and Bo would still bring it back for 201 drop it, and do a little dance until you would throw it again everyday until his last.
Bo was pretty close to perfect but you could always tell when Bo got into trouble. He had this snear that he would make when he did something wrong. If he was doing it, you always had to ask, "Bo, what did you do?!"
Bo attended Ridge water college in Willmar, MN with Clint and lived with him his 2nd year. His first year, Brenda would drive him up for 2 hours just to hang out with Clint because he couldn't live with him. Bo joined Clint at college parties and even dressed up for a halloween party with Clint at school. To say they were a package deal would be an understatement.
Clint and Bo's bond grew its strongest out in the duck blind. Early mornings with dad are what he lived for and he never quit up until last hunting season. He would always know when Clint was getting ready to hunt. He wouldn't leave his bed when Clint left for work, but for hunting, he knew to get up every time. When it was too cold to take Bo with, Clint would have to sneak out of the house and get ready outside so Bo wouldn't hear him leave, because when he did, those dark brown eyes were not getting left behind.
Bo was always in the zone hunting and never stopped until he got the duck he went out for. He watched the sky the whole time and spotted the ducks before Clint did. Every weekend after hunting him and Clint would come home and have to show mom what he got. He was so proud.
Bo was by Clints side no matter what, through all the sad and happy times. He was truly a man's best friend and lived up to it every single day. Bo stood by Clint as he proposed to Meghan and stood next to him as his co-best man at their wedding.
Bo is survived by his Dad, Mom, brothers Croix and Hawk many pup cousins and countless pup buddies.
Bodacious "Bo" Jack Larson died in Cottage Grove, the day after he celebrated his 12th birthday with a new toy, bone and a "peanut butter pup cup".
